CHRIS GREENWOOD
Chris found his calling early, joining the fire service right out of high school in 2001. Over the years, he served with several departments, earning his EMT certification and eventually becoming Rescue Captain for the North Conway Fire Department. Although life circumstances led Chris to take a hiatus from active duty, he never strayed far from the fire service. Seeing a need in his community, he taught himself how to craft custom fire plates, becoming the official fire plate dealer in town.
What began as a small side project for local departments grew into something much larger. In 2016, Chris officially founded Fire Plates N’ More, a business that quickly gained a nationwide reputation for quality craftsmanship and outstanding customer service. Chris’s work was fueled by his passion for the fire and EMS community, and he poured his heart into every plate he made.
Tragically, Chris passed away on June 26, 2024, leaving behind his beloved wife, Molly. Knowing how much the business meant to Chris—and after receiving an outpouring of support and inquiries—Molly chose to continue his legacy. Today, she finds great joy and purpose in carrying on Chris’s work, honoring his memory with each and every plate created.
